The Community Development Department is committed to seeing Itasca grow and thrive. Its primary responsibilities include coordinating the review, permitting and inspection of proposed development projects, enforcing the community’s codes and standards, planning future development initiatives while adhering to the strategic plan and goals articulated in the Village’s Comprehensive Plan and other Village plans.

SCHEDULING INSPECTIONS

Inspections for Building Permits can be scheduled by calling the Community Development Department at (630) 773-5568.

Inspections for Building Permits can alternatively be scheduled by sending a request via email to commdev@itasca.com. Once the inspection request has been scheduled, a confirmation email will be sent with the date and time of the inspection. When sending a request by email, please include the following information:

1. Type of Inspection(s)
2. Permit Number
3. Property Address
4. Contractor/Owner Name
5. Contractor/Owner Phone Number
6. Contractor/Owner E-Mail

Inspection Requests left on Voicemails or scheduled through the Village’s See-Click-Fix Account will NOT be scheduled.

Inspections must be scheduled by 3:00 PM for the following day. Any Inspection Requests called or emailed after 3:00 PM will be scheduled for the next available business day.

 Please Note: Electrical Inspections are only scheduled for Tuesdays and Thursdays.
