Economic Development

Itasca’s central location in the Chicagoland region and transportation access makes it an attractive place to do business.  We are a business-friendly community, offering some of the lowest tax rates in DuPage County and superior municipal services.

The Community Development Department serves as the point of contact for questions regarding business resources including: existing retail, employment, infrastructure, fees, permitting, special event sponsorship, marketing opportunities, incentives, planning and zoning, codes, and licenses.

As part of its Economic Development Plan, the Village of Itasca has created an Economic Development Assistance Policy for developers, businesses, and industries locating to, expanding, or remaining in the Village. For Available Properties, please contact Village Staff.
