Construction Update – 2021 Street Resurfacing Program - Week of July 26, 2021

Construction of the 2021 Street Resurfacing Program is wrapping up. This past week, the contractor has completed the striping of the streets that have been resurfaced and at various locations through the village.

The contractor has also begun the restoration with topsoil and hydroseed. In the upcoming week restoration will be completed. Crack sealing of various locations through town will be completed in the upcoming week(s).

Construction Update – DCEO Street Lighting Project - Week of July 26, 2021

The DCEO Street Lighting Project is wrapping up. This past week, Utility Dynamics has completed splicing the poles, and started on restoration. The control panels were inspected and are ready for service to be connected by ComEd.

Construction Update – 2021 Street Resurfacing Program - Week of July 19

Construction of the 2021 Street Resurfacing Program continues. This past week, the contractor has completed placement of the final Hot-Mix Asphalt Surface Course on all streets and also completed all patching work.

On Monday, July 19th, pavement striping will be done on the streets that were resurfaced and at various locations throughout town. In the upcoming week(s) restoration will be completed as well crack sealing at various locations throughout town.

This past week, Utility Dynamics has completed the framing and setting of the light poles on Catalpa Street, Bryn Mawr Avenue and North Street.

Construction of the 2021 Street Resurfacing Program continues. This past week, the contractor has completed the street surface grinding and pavement patching along George Street, Shiller Street, Bonnie Brae, Maple Avenue, Cherry Street and Lombard Road.
