The contractor performed the work without prior approval causing a high level of frustration for both the Village officials and our residents.  Since proper notification did not occur, we are working to have the detour removed.  The detour will be necessary to allow construction to progress, but it is the Village’s expectation that the contractor will provide proper notification, which we will share with residents and community partners.  We apologize for the inconvenience and confusion that this created.
