The next Haymarket Hearing is scheduled for August 11th at 7:00 p.m. The public may attend in-person at Village Hall or watch the hearings live through the Village's YouTube channel here.
At the upcoming hearing, the following witness will be available for questioning:
- Director Robert O'Connor, Itasca Police Department
Written questions received for the Interested Parties (865 W. Irving Park Road LLC and 960 Maplewood LLC) will also be responded to at the hearing, by their attorney, Steve Ellenbecker. Please note the due date to submit written question(s) for the Interested Parties was August 8th.
Public Comment will also be heard at the August 11th hearing, once the questioning of the witness is completed. Public Comment is the time in the hearing where members of the public may express an opinion or make general statements to the Plan Commission regarding witness statements, documents, or the matter in general. Anyone making public comment must do so under oath and may be subject to cross-examination by the petitioner or interested parties. The Plan Commission has also reserved August 25th to hear Public Comment.
Those wishing to ask a question or provide public comment are highly encouraged to sign-up in advance in order to reserve their seating. Anyone unable to attend the hearing in person, may also use the sign-up form to submit written questions or comments. If you are unable to pre-register, there will still be an opportunity to sign-up onsite during the hearing.
