[ARCHIVED] Participation Details for Haymarket October 28th Public Hearing

On Tuesday, October 20th, the State of Illinois announced that Tier One mitigation efforts would be put in place on Friday, October 23rd. These measures further limit the size of meetings, social events, and gatherings from 50 people to 25. Although this announcement further restricts the number of people that can be in physical attendance at a meeting, it does not change the protocols that were established by the Plan Commission in September, to conduct large hearings remotely.

Live Stream the Meeting

While under Phase 4, Tier One Restrictions, all large scale public hearings will be live streamed on the Village’s YouTube Channel. The direct link for the meeting video, can be found on the Village’s dedicated webpage to Haymarket here

Live Questioning

For the October 28th meeting, both the petitioner and the Village have agreed to follow the pre-COVID format and continue the questioning of Dr. Lustig and Mr. Baldwin. If you have not asked a question of Dr. Lustig or Mr. Baldwin regarding their specific testimony, and would like to do so, please click here. Registration must be completed by 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 28th.  Please note, those who have already asked a question of these two witnesses, will not be allowed to submit new questions at this time.

Once the questioning of Dr. Lustig and Mr. Baldwin concludes, the new public hearing protocols will be in effect, with public questioning and commenting occurring after all remaining testimony has been presented. Those wishing to ask a question or provide their comments, will need to register with the Village, which can be completed here
