Dear Residents,

I wanted to take this time to inform you of an important development regarding the Plan Commission.

Mr. Larry Swets recently reached out to inform me that he has expressed interest in the Holiday-Inn Itasca property. Subsequently, Plan Commissioner Eric Swets tendered a letter to the Plan Commission Chair recusing himself from the Haymarket proposal currently before the Plan Commission.

As a result, the Plan Commission will continue to hear the Haymarket case, however, Commissioner Swets will no longer participate in the hearings or vote on a recommendation in this case.

We will keep you posted as future hearing dates are scheduled.
