Beginning the week of April 9, a construction crew will be starting work on improvements to the Spring Brook Nature Center boardwalk. The boardwalk that winds through the wetland area on the south side of the property is being extended.
The Village has future plans to improve other existing chipped paths with concrete. The Village looks forward to having the Spring Brook Nature Center paths be accessible to all!

The Village of Itasca Public Works Department is seeking several seasonal labor positions in the general services and wastewater divisions of Public Works. The candidates must be available to work on weekdays and rotating weekend shifts.
ComEd will be in Itasca trimming trees, branches and vines that interfere or have the potential to interfere with power lines beginning in April and ending in June. In some cases tree removal may be required. All work is performed by trained arborists.
