[ARCHIVED] Closed Door Station Policy

Given the potential high transmission rate of the Covid – 19 virus, the Itasca Fire Protection District has temporarily closed all of its administrative offices effective March 18, 2020. The District will reevaluate this closure on March 31, 2020.

  • The closing of the administrative offices does not impact 911 service in any capacity.
  • If a person comes to the door of the station seeking treatment, door signs will direct the person to the outside emergency phone or to use their cell phone to dial 911. Door signs will have the station address clearly visible. Paramedic crews will meet the patient outside the station and begin treatment in the ambulance as indicated.

Please feel free to call or email me with any questions or concerns you may have.
