"Surviving and Active Shooter Event" Sept 27, Itasca Village Hall


The National Safety Council and the Itasca Police Department will present a community training event September 27, 6-8pm at the Itasca Village Hall. Participants will learn preparations, options, plan and actions in the event of an active shooter.

Chances are slim that you will encounter an Active Shooter event.  While you are 700 times more likely to die in a car crash than an active shooter event, safety is about being prepared. There are smart actions you can take to improve your chances of survival should you find yourself in proximity to a shooter.
