Crossing Project Update

This coming Tuesday, October 15, the new sanitary pumping station located on the Northeast corner of Willow and North Street is scheduled to be placed into service. Some sanitary connections still need to be made in that area so the road closures should be expected at that intersection. Currently, the pavement for entire project is scheduled to be ground and overlaid this fall.

To date on the Crossings Project, a large portion of the lift station has been installed along with the gravity sanitary sewer line located on North Street from Catalpa to Willow. DiMeo Bros., the contractor, is currently installing the forced sanitary main from the intersection of Willow and North towards Center Street on Willow.

Beginning May 29, the contractor will commence work once again on the Catalpa and Willow Street sanitary and storm sewer project. Catalpa Street will be closed to all traffic at the railroad tracks. Center Street will remain open. The closure will take place for approximately 3 to 4 weeks.
