Ordinance Number 2008-5 Adoption
On December 10, 2008 the Itasca Fire Protection District adopted Ordinance Number 2008-5, “An ordinance amending ordinance 2006-3 and adopting the 2006 international fire code”, as the Fire Code of the Itasca Fire Protection District, regulating and governing the safeguarding of life and property from fire and explosion hazards arising from fire and explosion hazards arising from storage, handling and use of hazardous substance materials and devices, and from conditions hazardous to life or property in the occupying of buildings and premises as herein provided; regulations, provisions, penalties, condition and terms of said Fire Code on file in the office of the Itasca Fire Protection District are hereby referred, adopted, and made part hereof, as if fully set out in this ordinance with the additions, insertions, deletions and changes, if any, prescribed in Section 2 of this ordinance.

Additionally, the Itasca Fire Protection District utilizes the following Codes as amended by the Village of Itasca in the review of plans for the construction, remodeling, repair or modifications of building located within the boundaries of the Village of Itasca and the Itasca Fire Protection District.
